How we handle information in 2mado and on its official website.

About this policy
This policy applies to the 2mado split screen browser app (previously called Nimado, and called 2窓 in Japanese) and its official website, 2mado.com.
Information stored in the app
The app stores settings, previously opened pages, Favorites, YouTube playback positions and viewing history, and Layout Sets on your device. Cookies and sign-in information in the browser are managed as WebKit website data.
Websites you open in the app handle information under their own privacy policies.
iCloud sync
When you enable iCloud sync in 2mado Pro, Favorites, Continue Watching, and Layout Sets sync with your iPhone and iPad using the same Apple Account. Synced data includes saved page URLs and titles, video identifiers, and playback positions. This data is stored in Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit).
You can turn off iCloud sync in the app’s settings. See the Apple Privacy Policy for Apple’s data practices.
Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device information, usage data, and other information. Advertising consent is managed with Google UMP. For details about collection, use, and sharing, see Google’s advertising policy.
Analytics and crash reports
We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to improve the app and investigate problems. These services handle feature usage, device and OS information associated with crashes, and information such as the window layout and playback state. Collection and transmission are controlled according to the consent status determined through Google UMP.
The app does not send the URLs, titles, search queries, or cookie values from your browsing as app analytics or crash reports.

Contact information
The contact form collects your reply email address, your message, and any app version or device details you choose to provide. We use these details to respond to your inquiry and investigate reported problems.
Form contents are sent by email. The form processing does not store them in a database or file on the web server. Submitted emails and later correspondence are used to handle your inquiry.
Form cookies and spam prevention
The form uses a session cookie to help secure submissions. To limit spam, we keep a hashed value of your IP address and submission times from the past hour outside the public web directory. Expired records are removed during the next submission processing.
We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent spam. Verification on submission sends information from your browser to Google and uses a cookie for risk analysis. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Sharing information
We do not share personal information you provide in inquiries with third parties except for processing by the services described in this policy, with your consent, or as required by law.
